Hotel Florida
The Hotel Florida is surrounded by numerous stories of illustrious families, such as the Counts of San Ignacio and Casa More. The building it occupies today in Old Havana was inaugurated in 1885.
Adapted to the tastes of American and European markets, it became one of the most renowned hotels in the Cuban capital. This establishment, which functioned as a hotel until 1952, also housed the British Club of Havana in the 1930s.
Upon arrival, guests are greeted by “La Odalisca,” an Art Deco statue of a semi-nude woman, standing before a beautiful Spanish-style interior courtyard. The courtyard is adorned with bare stone columns, period lamps, and a stained glass window created by the master artist Rosa María de la Terga.
